The following General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery apply to all goods offered and donations. However, certain provisions naturally only apply to goods, since donations are not physical products and therefore cannot be sent. With the final sending of an order it becomes binding (whether purchase of goods or donation).
We deliver goods both within Switzerland and in other European countries.
As a rule, delivery within Switzerland takes place within a maximum of six working days; in the case of deliveries abroad, no binding information can be given due to the different service providers. However, we make every effort to ship ordered items as quickly as possible. Delivery is at the risk of the recipient.
Minimum order value
There is no minimum order value.
The shipping costs are indicated during the ordering process and are owed by the customer. For donations there are no shipping costs.
Deliveries are made with Swiss Post or its partner companies in and outside of Switzerland. Please select the shipping address so that packages can be received.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). As a non-profit association, we do not charge VAT.
Terms of payment
We accept all major credit cards and Postfinance. Deliveries against invoice for physical items are only made against prepayment and only within Switzerland.
Complaints due to defects or due to incomplete or incorrect delivery must be reported to us in writing without delay, at the latest 14 days from the date of invoice.
Right of return
Purchased items may be returned within 14 days of the invoice date under the following conditions:
Donations are generally not returnable or cancelable.
Consequences of the return/cancellation
If you revoke this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs, without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your revocation of this contract. Repayment shall be made exclusively to a bank or postal account in Switzerland. For refunds to foreign bank or postal accounts, the customer shall bear any fees/commissions.
We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any event within fourteen days at the latest from the date on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. This period shall be deemed to have been observed if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The return/cancellation of donations is not possible.
For physical items purchased from us, the usual Swiss warranty conditions apply. A guarantee cannot be granted in case of improper handling of the products.
Retention of title
The goods remain the property of the association basmati until full payment has been received.
Compensation for damages
Claims for damages due to errors in illustrations, prices and texts or due to delayed or omitted delivery are strictly excluded. The color of the products shown in the online shop may differ from the actual product color.
